The cover of my new book, Just a Little Favor

To create the cover of my new ebook, Just a Little Favor, I used a copyright free image with a sexy lady, and a Canva template. This is my usual working method as I've found Canva being so great for years now.

The result is a retro colored yet intriguing picture I really dig:

Cover Reveal for Office Sluts 4: Dirty Diaries

While the manuscript is being proofread, check out the planned cover for Office Sluts 4: Dirty Diaries! It has the minimalism of the Pet Shop Boys covers, yet contains a dirty element :) How do you like it? Drop me feedback at sandy.likes.to.write@gmail.com

A good cover pic for Office Sluts: Extra Edition

As I'm writing Office Sluts: Extra Edition and preparing it for its release in 2016 (aside of the antholgies, I haven't published a full book since almost two years - can you believe it?), I already started to hunt for good cover images. Look what I've found:

A little cut here and there, some playing with the lights and putting the title there... How do you like it?

A new cover for a new story

I recieved a lot of positive comments on my latest story 'Inside The Cube.' My favourite was the one saying he might never be able to watch the Cube again :)

And as I'm writing the sequel right now, I created the cover for it. What do you think? Horrible, right? Is it ugly enough? Does it match the dark world of the Cube series?

The cover of Office Sluts 2: Wild Adventures

As many of my readers may know, vol. 2 of my Office Sluts series is on it way to be published. The manuscript is written, edited and proofread, so it's just a matter of days until you can get it on Smashwords. Until then, please check the cover of this new book, made by JohnM.

How the cover of Office Sluts 1 was designed

I wanted to find a free image for my cover. So I searched sites where I can find these kind of pictures. After 2 hours, I found this picture:
But I couldn't match the title to it. The background and the model were both too intense. That's why I searched for other cover images. Found the following ones:

They are both nice, right? But I couldn't figure out how to add the title and the other stuff to them too look nice and hot. So I searched and searched... And I found the perfect cover image for the book!
That's much better, right? The model is hot, her dress suits to the topic of the book, she's holding a black leather briefcase in her hand and there is a lot of white space around her where I can write my stuff. I got out with the following idea:
Now I got all the information I wanted but the desing seemed kind of boring. I mean, search on Google "how to design a book cover"  and you will find things like "use two fonts..." or "the reader first check the upper left corner..."
But I didn't have time nor the patience to deal with all these good advices. I'm a writer, I wanna write, that make me happy. I don't wanna spend hours thinkig about how to design my cover. So I asked a friend of mine, JohnM to check it. And he did a wonderful job! Here's the final result:

You can find every important piece of information: my name, the title, the subtitle, a slightly erotic but important "hardcore material" sign on the right side and a "vol. 1." showing I'm working on the "vol. 2.".
So this is how I got my cover. I hope all of you like it and check it with my book as well:

The Pulp-O-Mizer

Wow I just found this site called Pulp-O-Mizer. You can make a funny steampunk cover with it. Okay, it is not really my style (erotic covers should't have to be steampunk) but I tried it anyway. Here's the  (it won't be the cover of my book, I promise :) ):
