Review of Tara Sue Me's "The Training"

This is the third part of The Submissive series. The characters are the same as in the previous books: Nathaniel and Abby and their friends and relatives. And while the first book was told from Abby's perspective, the second from Nathaniel's, now they replace the narrative chapter to chapter.

This tiem, the two characters live together and get closer to each other day by day. They also visit friends and relatives sometimes, getting to know each other more and more details. So their relationship is getting stronger and stronger.

The sex in this book is much more interesting, exciting and real. I really liked the part when they visited Nathaniel's master and witnessed how BDSM can be part of marriage. But there are other fine stuff as well like cum play and hardcore anal. And she kept the good hard face fucking scenes I loved so much in the first the books.

It really feels like the author took the time to build this book up. There are no huge fights, the tension between the characters is definitely lower, but they live a steady BDSM life and it's really entertaining to read.

Based on all these, I find it the best of The Submissive series. It's still romantic, still can evolve but it's very promising. It made me curious about the other books in the series.

Review of "The Dominant" by Sara Tue Me

All the while I was reading this book a bell was ringing in my head: "Cheating!" That's right, Tara Sue Me was cheating during the writing of this book: she simply too the first one and changed the perspective to the male character, kept most of the dialogs and the story, added a few extra chapters and boom! You have a whole book in a few weeks!

There not much difference from the first book: Abby is still the submissive for Nathaniel West, the rich guy and business man. Aside of a few social events, they spend their weekends the same; hidden in his home, obeying his orders. Except the sex is a little bit dirty, which makes the text more enjoyable.

For start, we get na extended scene of office role play. Later on, the weekend continues in hot anal sex which in definitely not the vanilla we get in the first book. But my favourite was the scene SPOILER: when Nathaniel had his flashback about the threesome he had with another dom and a shared submissive. This is where we can see how hot actually the author's fantasy is; but she's cutting the scene so a lot remains in mistery. SPOILER END

I asked in my previous review, whether you should you read The Submissive. The answer here is easy: If you're interested in the story, one of these books is enough to read. The same is with the sex: you don't get pretty much more from this book.

So... do you see why I started my review with "Cheating!"?

Review of 'A Night At The Opera' by Felicity Brandon

This story pretty much begins with the same situation me and Alina wrote in A Night In The Theatre: a girl is invited to the opera to some kinky session. But the circumstances are quite different. She is inveted by her master there, and she will be hosted my multiple men. You would think this turns into a gangbang, or at least this is how I would write this story but Felicity did a more fine job here: she's deliciously teasing the reader through the whole text. Even her driver starts teasing her in the car to the opera; and the kinky game goes on after her arrival into the building.

As you read this text, you'll wonder how this girl chose her path into this submission game. I wasn't fortunate to read the other parts of this books series but her character definitely built up some questions about her life in me. Just like her master and his friends: how did they earn this party?

Again, these guys teasing her doesn't mean a cum bath here; it's simply another genre. This whole text is about submission itself, enjoying the exhibitionism and the fetish of being touched and fondled by multiple admirers in a public place. And of course you can read a nice description of fetish toys like nipple clamps, a collar or a dogbowl. Everything to get to the limits of submission.

So if you want to read some kinky but gentle fetish/bdsm erotica, forget 50 shades of Grey. A Night At The Opera is your thing.

About Asa Akira: Insatiable

This review is about Asa Akira's book, called Insatiable. I listened to it as an audio book read by the author herself. And I have to point out right here at the beginning: her reading the audio adds a bit to the feeling, but she's not a good actor. She even herself admits it when she writes about feature vs. gonzo porn.

What is this book about? Especially what you expect from this crazy Asian pornstar: about her life from the view of porn. And unlike her former collegue, Jenna Jameson's or Sasha Grey's book (is writing a book becoming a fashion among porn stars nowadays?), this book is filled with hot and dirty details all along. And what is most important, it is really a good book.

Asa Akira can really write (did she use a ghost writer? I don't think so...). Her text is fluid, compact and catches special details which reflect her unique observation of what she is going through. The chapters are alternating between present and past, porn sets and personal life. I even enjoyed the diary part at the end of the book. The whole structure is well-written and sucks the reader in (which is very important in the case of a book about porn :P ). That's why I suspect a ghost writer or some pretty good editors there.

She shares many-many intimate details of her personal life. We can read about (or as in my case, listen to) her childhood moments, how was she struggling as a young adult before porn, how was she smoking weed, how many abortions did yhe have... the list could go on forever. And she writes about how she got involved in porn, what are the stages of this envolvement both in cases of male and female actors, what's their status in the set, how did she shoot her special movies titled the same as the book, Insatiable 1-2-3, what are her experiences with anal, how is she preparing for it... Yeah, again. The list could go on forever.

The whole book is filled with dirty details. I didn't know, for example, that porn crew uses baby wipes for basically everything. Or what fucking "prison style" means (google it! It can help you understand how Toni fucked Asa at a hot night). Or what are her limits (she lets someone fist her ass but... hey, read the book!). These details and the straightforward makes it a very interesting and entertaining book. And what I liked the most, she seems to be writing honestly. She takes the reader to the most inner part of herself, both in her soul and her past. And this is really the most admirable aspect of her book and I really raise my hat to her for it.

After finishing listening to the book, I still feel some sadness. When I didn't know what's written in this book, I thought she's a hot porn star who really enjoys what she's doing. But as I went through the book, she became less and less sympathic. Not because of her porn career - I totally envy some of her experiences - but because she made some personal choices with which I can not agree. One of these topics is abortion, and the other is beiing irresponsibile (typical example when she was driving without having any driver's licens nor any experience). And because of that, I will watch her scenes differently from now on (I'll check Wicked's new movie Holly...Would as soon as I can get my hands on it!).

Aside of these differences in our moral perception I still miss somehow a strong set of friends and relatives around Asa. Her world is filled with fame, hot sex and money but the majority of her friends die early or leave the industry. She spends even the Halloween with her co-stars. Somehow I miss the "other side of the world", her secure private life where she could take energy from. Sure, she is longer in the industry than most actresses, and longer she herself even planned, but the question rises: what will she do after more ten years? Will she still have energy to go and and be happy with her life? Will she have friends and family?

With all these mixed feelings, I found this book the most interesting one I've read in years. If you want to have a good summer book filled with nastiness and with a hint of drama, this will be yours. Seriously, read it.

An anthology idea for erotica writers

I have an idea about doing an anthology. The idea for the book is to contain approx. 10 hot stories from different authors with the subject around a New Year's Eve party. I would like to publish it for free at smashwords right before the New Year's Eve. With this time interval, we could have plenty of time (half a year) to put a sexy book together.

So... Wanna join? If yes, drop me a line with your idea at sandy.likes.to.write@gmail.com.

Short Skirts & High Heels just got published by AlinaX

It was recently when I praised AlinaX' story on my blog. Since then, I contacted AlinaX and the author was nice enough to let me co-write a story about her characters. We co-wrote the latest episode of Ali's adventures in a record short time, only in a few days. It will be published on the usual sites (literotica, lushstories) soon.

Furthermore, AlinaX published Ali's collected stories in a book on amazon. Altough I contributed in only one story, I was mentioned as a co-author, even on the cover. Well, I'm not sure I deserve it. But if you're interested in this very hot and exciting book, please take a look at it here:

About 'Sugar' by Jenna Jameson

I just have read 'Sugar' by Jenna Jameson. As many of you may already know, she was a porn star in the last decade and now she's a business woman. And now she came up with this novel, about a successful ex-pornstar. Guess who is this character based on?
Okay, she writes about what she knows. Let's get over it. What is good and what is wrong in this book?
The sex scenes are hot. I have to admit that. There are more sex scenes than in The Juliette Society, and they are more hot and steamy. It is also a hot idea that the ex-pornstar and her new lover re-play all the scenes she did in her porn movies. It kind of adds a new level to the sex.
At the other hand, the characters are developed poorly, the whole story is dumb, and after I finished reading it, I can't feel anything getting from the book. So basically, it was a waste of time. The stories I present on my blog as My Favourite Stories are much much better than this.

Sorry, Jenna. Go back to porn.

Did you read the book? Write about it in a comment or discuss it in the Literotica forum thread I just opened.

About House of Holes by Nicholas Baker

I just read this article about '6 Erotic Romance Novels That Are Better Than 'Fifty Shades'' and hurried to get House of Holes by Nicholas Baker. I thought, a good novel by a professional writer? Maybe I can learn something from it.
Well, this book is a joke. No real characters, no real story. The people in the novel do some unreal things like no sex with one character but a complet blowbang with some others? What kind of crazy shit is this? And a guy spraying a miniature girl's hip out with his cum? WTF? Seriously?! Or is it a parody of porn stories?
Thanks, but no, thanks. I'll continue to find my daily stories on literotica and lushstories. You can find there 100 times better stories than House of Holes.

About The Juliette Society by Sasha Grey

Sasha Grey's one of the hardest women in porn. She'd done DPs, bukkakes, gangbangs and other things a normal woman doesn't even dream about. And now what, a book? Based on my book selling, I don't think it adds a huge sum to her incomes. This must be a joke or a hobby for her.

Anyway, let's talk about the book. The excerpt on Huffington Post is cheesy and soft. Even I could write better than that :) But as the Huffington Post says, "it delves into the tumultuous world of an underground sex group" so I might take a look at that :)

If any of you already read the book, please let me know in the comments.
